Double Exposure

Light Painting

Stereotype Photography

Shadow and Angle Digital Photography

I think that this photograph is really pretty and interesting. The camera angle really adds to the image and makes a big difference. By taking the picture from below, it makes the Eiffel Tower look taller and superior. The angle also gives the image depth, for it allows you to see the height of the building as well as the width because you can see the bottom of it too. If the picture had just been taken straight on, it wouldn’t have been as interesting to look at. The picture also utilizes the rule of thirds, which makes it more interesting to look out because the point of the building is at the top right corner rather than the center. I also really like how the image was manipulated to be in black and white. I think that it makes the image really pretty and more interesting if it were just in color. The texture of the clouds is also cool to me as well. The image is also very interesting due to the use of lines in the image. The tower has many lines that make it more complex and fun to look at. The lighting is also very nice, for it isn’t too dark or too light. Its also not too complex, but more simple, which is nice because the background and subject aren’t overwhelming. It also a nice picture because the photographer got close to the object to take the picture, which makes it more interesting as well.  The actual architecture of the building is art too and is very cool to me. I like the arches on the bottom of the building and the shape of the building as well. This picture makes me really want to go and visit the Eiffel Tower. I also really like how the angle isn’t just from below, but also off to the side slightly. This also adds to the photograph and makes it more interesting. Overall, I think the picture is really pretty and interesting to look at.

Shadow and Digital Photography

I really like this photograph because of the shadows. I love the pattern and repetition the shadows make on her face. I also really like how it focuses into her eye. This also causes movement and draws my eyes to her eye through the shadows. It also moves my eyes from her eye outwards as well. I also really like the use of lighting. I love how dark the background is and then how light the lighting on the woman is. It provides contrast and helps focus on the subject. It is also cool because the shadows almost seem to emerge from the background because of how dark they are. This gives a sense of depth to the image in my opinion.
